Urban Tapestry

Urban Tapestry is an ongoing series that focuses on the textile like patterns featured throughout modern architecture. This series shows the relation between weaving, a form of art that has been present for thousands of years, and architecture. I take the concrete, steel and glass of the New York City skyline and reduce it to nothing more than patterns by restricting vision and removing the horizon, recently going as far as turning my photographs into physical tapestries.
